Job Title: Safety Assistant
Location: Niš (Remote/Hybrid)
Experience Required: 1+ year

Job Description:

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a safety-related role along with a strong understanding of compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.

This role plays a vital part in supporting the implementation and monitoring of safety policies, ensuring that all procedures and regulations are consistently followed across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DQ Compliance: Ensure that all documents comply with safety regulations.
  • Employment Verification: Conduct employment verifications to ensure hiring practices align with industry standards.
  • Drug Testing Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule drug testing for employees as required.
  • FMCSA & US DOT Regulation Oversight: Monitor and ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a safety or compliance role.
  • Familiarity with FMCSA and US DOT regulations as well as ProTransport
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of drug testing procedures and scheduling.
