Position Overview:
The Claims Specialist will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims related to freight damage, vehicle accidents, property damage, and insurance matters. Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate cargo loss, damage claims, and accident reports
• Coordinate with drivers, insurance adjusters, customers, and internal departments
• Document and maintain accurate claim files and reports
• Ensure timely filing and resolution of claims in compliance with federal regulations
• Monitor trends to identify risk and help develop preventive measures

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in claims management (transportation/trucking preferred but not mandatory)
• Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and insurance policies
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems
