Safety Manager

About Us:

MB Global Logistics is a leading transportation company dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance. We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager with in-depth knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations to oversee our safety programs and ensure compliance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations. 
• Conduct regular safety training for drivers and other employees. 
• Monitor safety compliance and ensure that safety procedures are followed. 
• Investigate accidents and incidents, recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence, and manage claims processes. 
• Identify potential safety hazards and take necessary actions to mitigate them. 
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports. 
• Work with the management team to develop and implement safety improvement plans. 
• Collaborate with insurance providers and government agencies to ensure compliance. 
• Handle claims, working with insurance providers and regulatory agencies. 
• Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices. 
• Screen, hire, and maintain DQ files for drivers.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Manager or Safety Assistant Manager. 
• Proven experience in managing claims and accident investigations. 
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT regulations, and Hours of Service (HOS) rules. 
• Ability to manage safety personnel. 
• Great communication and customer service skills. 
• Previous experience in the transportation industry. 
• Fluency in English.
