Sales Support Team Leader
About the Role
As a Sales Support Team Leader, you will act as the functional leader for Customer Coordinators (CCs) and Sales Data Specialists (SDSs) within the BD Mobility & New Energy department. You will ensure consistent information flow, processes optimization, and high-quality support for sales, account management, and operational activities.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead a multicultural team of 9 Customer Coordinators and Sales Data Specialists, providing coaching, motivation, and clear performance expectations
- Define, maintain, and optimize processes and standards for CCs and SDSs to ensure professional and efficient handling of customer orders, offerings, and information
- Facilitate information exchange across CCs, monitor KPIs, and support escalation or high-priority topics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support sales, pricing, contracts, and supply chain activities
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives (CIP/Kaizen) and optimize workflows during peak periods
- Support customer development, identifying opportunities and advancing key accounts
What qualifications should you have to be successful in this role?
- Minimum 5 years in industrial sales (preferably automotive) and 2–3 years as a Teamleader
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong business acumen and results-driven mindset
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
