Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in in finance or accounting
• University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
• Strong knowledge of Serbian accounting and tax regulations
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., PSIT, Minimax)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Review, process, and post accounting documentation (accounts payable and receivable invoices, bank statements, complex calculations,  etc.)
• Perform administrative tasks related to assigned clients
• Prepare and submit VAT, corporate income tax, and other tax returns for larger clients
• Perform regular reconciliations with customers and suppliers
• Prepare payment orders and execute payments
• Issue all types of invoices and related documents through the SEF system and outside of it
• Prepare monthly and other periodic reports
• Prepare and submit financial statements to the Business Registers Agency (APR)
• Perform other accounting duties, including supervision and support of junior staff
• Maintain continuous communication with clients and internal teams
• Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal procedures, including maintaining relevant records
• Attend webinars, seminars, and other training programs to enhance professional knowledge and efficiency
• Collaborate and coordinate work with external partners
• Transfer knowledge to other employees through workshops or training sessions in areas of expertise.
