Senior Business Analyst - Commercial & Sales

You take a key analytical role within Operations and Commercial, directly supporting decision-making, budgeting, and sales performance across the entire Dr. Max Serbia network.

What will you do?

• Support Operations and Commercial Directors in defining annual budgets and sales targets based on comparative sales analyses and performance trends.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and report sales data to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
• Monitor sales performance against targets, budgets, and forecasts, proactively identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
• Analyze sales, stock levels, profitability, pricing, and promotions to identify growth opportunities and optimization areas.
• Track pharmacy-level KPIs and update them monthly to ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Analyze market dynamics, competitor performance, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide analytical support for sales initiatives and special commercial projects across the pharmacy network.
• Support users of Business Intelligence systems within Operations and Commercial and contribute to improving reporting standards.
• Participate in cross-functional projects focused on business process improvements.
• Perform analyses and reporting for all affiliated entities within Dr. Max Serbia.

What is expected from you?

• University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong experience in sales/commercial analysis, ideally within retail or FMCG.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools (Power BI or similar).
• Strong analytical mindset, structured approach, and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business conclusions and recommendations.
• Confidence in communication with senior stakeholders and presenting insights in a decision-oriented way.
• Proactive mindset with focus on improvement, not only reporting.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
