Senior CNC Specialist

Wacker Neuson Kragujevac d.o.o. is located at Braće Nikolića 2A. The company specializes in the production of welded steel structures for agricultural and construction machinery and has over 600 employees.

Due to capacity expansion and the implementation of new projects, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Manufacturing engineer.

Job Description:

• Broad experience in CNC programming with various programming languages (especially Heidenhain and Fanuc)
• Very good experience in cutting tools and products positioning and clamping solutions
• Capability to show programmers and operators how to use the CNC machine
• Strong technical skills (blueprint reading, G-code, CAD/CAM, tooling, setup, quality control)
• Math skills - metrology (geometry, trigonometry for precision)
• Crucial soft skills (problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, adaptability, communication, safety awareness) to operate, program, troubleshoot, and maintain Computer Numerical Control machines for precise manufacturing and methodologies like Lean / Six Sigma
• Focus on designing, improving, and managing efficient, quality production systems
• Significant reduction of CNC cycle times through set up and change over time reduction activities and using modern cutting tools and clamping fixtures
• Developing an overall CNC machining strategy including tooling, clamping fixtures, programming in order to fully automate the whole machining cycle
• Standardizing of the CNC technology by continuously considering new generations of cutting tools
• Training of the CNC operators and programmers to become them specialists
