About project and team: We are searching for a new team member which together with us will have the opportunity to work on UI and Frontend strategy concept for our division of Power Tools. As part of distributed team on several locations (Germany, Poland, Serbia and India) you will have a chance to develop and implement a concept for modern frontend development across our B2C, B2B and After Sales web applications. You will be part of the B2C Digital Platform development team, and together with Solution Architect and our Tech leads you will work to standardize frontend development where it makes sense.

Job DescriptionWhat you are going to do: ► Key contributor to our front-end applications written in some of the modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) ► Code new user-facing features and integrate data from various back-end services ► Review the code of your peers - make sure their code quality is the same or better as you would do it ► Learn and share expertise with teammates through code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, writing documentation and other avenues ► Research and propose new approaches to work, new tools, and new best practices for the team ► Work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through implementation ► And most importantly: have fun working with wonderful people in a diverse team | QualificationsWhat kind of knowledge you will bring into the team ► Extensive experience in work with modern technologies in front-end development (e.g. React, VueJS, Angular, StencilsJS, TypeScript, etc.) ► Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) ► Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 - Responsive design concept + CSS Pre-processors (understanding of the adaptive/responsive concept). ► Experience with RESTful Web Services and APIs ► Experience in creating self-contained, reusable modules and components ► Effective use of the Git source control system including branching, merging and pull requests ► Experience with frontend testing tools (e.g. jest, mocha, etc…) ► Big bonus is previous experience in AngularJS Additional InformationWhat you will have a chance to further enhance with us ► Chance to learn and apply about geometrical algorithms and to translate it as graphics to web application ► Chance to learn and use Microsoft Azure DevOps ► Build up yourself as engineer and suggest technologies that should be applied on our IT solutions |
