Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to end‑to‑end product development of new electro‑mechanical components and systems—from concept and feasibility through validation and production release
• Define critical product characteristics, dimensions, tolerances, and test requirements to ensure functional robustness and manufacturability
• Own creation and release of engineering documentation including 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs, assembly methods, and production specifications
• Evaluate and recommend optimal manufacturing processes and assembly methods for new designs.
• Partner with manufacturing engineering and suppliers to ensure design intent is preserved while optimizing for cost, quality, and scalable assembly
• Identify critical-to-quality (CTQ) dimensions and ensure alignment between design, tooling, and production capabilities
• Build, coordinate, and evaluate prototypes for design reviews, internal testing, and external customer needs
• Develop or contribute to creation of product test plans, performance evaluations, reliability testing, and reporting of results
• Report findings, data-driven conclusions, and recommended design improvements
• Perform detailed engineering analysis (stress analysis, material selection, heat transfer, tolerances, etc.) to ensure robust and optimized designs
• Evaluate and implement new engineering tools, modeling techniques, materials, and technologies
• Review engineering change requests, assess product improvement opportunities, and ensure proper documentation of design modifications
• Work closely with drafting, marketing, operations, field sales, and leadership teams to support successful product launch and lifecycle management
• Provide technical training, product expertise, and problem‑solving support to internal teams or customers as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering  / or related discipline
• 5–10 years of experience in product development within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks 
• Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing processes (machining, molding, stamping, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and collaborate across cultures and departments
• Strong analytical skills, structured problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Demonstrated interest and practical ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work while applying good judgment and responsible use
• Comfortable learning and adopting new AI-enabled ways of working and proactively identifying opportunities where AI can drive meaningful impact administration activities  
• Advanced level of English language
