Senior Project Engineer (SCADA / BMS)

you will act as the architect, transforming standalone installations into a single, intelligent, and overarching ecosystem.

Your Role: High-Level Integration & Data Orchestration

You will take ownership of the design and implementation of complex SCADA / BMS platforms. While traditional controls engineering focuses on individual controllers, you will look at the bigger picture: the seamless integration of HVAC, power, lighting, and security into a unified interface.

You will configure and optimise high-end platforms such as Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure), Honeywell (Niagara), or bespoke integration software. As the resident expert, you will unlock complex data streams via BACnet, Modbus, and MQTT, translating them into actionable dashboards and management information. Your focus is not on building local control loops, but on designing the high-level logic that enables systems to communicate intelligently at an enterprise level.

What We Are Looking For

System integration is a specialist craft, it is our standard. You possess an in-depth understanding of modern building management system architecture and know exactly how to harmonise data from diverse disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, and Security). Extensive experience in setting up BMS head-ends and configuring drivers and network protocols. While you understand the language of HVAC controls, your core strength lies in the overarching software layer, system interfacing, and data visualisation. You will oversee the technical roadmap of projects and serve as a technical mentor for junior colleagues.

What do we require?

• Completed vocational/higher professional education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience in high-level system integration within Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or SCADA high-level integration in industrial and infrastructure environments.
• Technical Expertise: You are a specialist in interfacing diverse protocols and systems to create a unified, functional ecosystem.
• Affinity for measurement & control technology and building automation.
• Knowledge of and interest in ICT solutions;
• Good oral and written command of English.
• Possession of a valid driver's license (category B).
