Job title: Senior SCC Management Advisor – CrossFunctional & Leadership Alignment

Reporting Line: Group SCC Owner – Vice President (VP)

Location: Čačak, Serbia (with international collaboration)

Role Purpose

The Senior SCC Management Advisor acts as a strategic partner to the Group SCC Owner – Vice President (VP) and as a central alignment function within the Shared Competence Center (SCC).

The SCC consists of a balanced mix of approximately 50% IT and 50% nonIT employees, working under local Serbian managers as well as global functional leaders. This creates a highly complex, cross-functional, multicultural matrix environment.

The purpose of this role is to ensure effective collaboration across these diverse functions, support leadership alignment, translate between functional perspectives, address friction points early, and structure decision-making processes.

The position has no disciplinary authority, but operates with a clear mandate to influence, challenge constructively, and escalate issues when necessary to the Group SCC Owner VP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional & International Leadership Alignment
  • Enable effective collaboration across IT and non IT functions within the SCC
  • Align objectives, expectations, and working models between local Serbian leadership and global functional managers
  • Support global and cross-regional initiatives by clarifying roles, responsibilities, and communication flows
  • Harmonize ways of working across regions, functions, and leadership levels

Stakeholder Management & Advisory Function

  • Serve as a central interface between the Group SCC Owner VP, SCC leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Prepare, structure, and facilitate leadership discussions to support transparent and well-documented decisions
  • Build strong relationships across functions and organizational levels
  • Provide advisory support on collaboration, organizational dynamics, and stakeholder challenges
  • Identify early warning signals on misalignment, risks, or leadership friction

Lateral Leadership, Moderation & Escalation

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and workstreams without formal authority
  • Influence outcomes through structure, clarity, transparency, and communication
  • Detect conflicts early and address them proactively with actionable solutions
  • Escalate critical issues to the Group SCC Owner VP, supported by structured analysis and solution scenarios

Organizational & Interpersonal Effectiveness

  • Interpret complex reporting structures, leadership dynamics, and cross-functional interactions
  • Moderate challenging and sensitive conversations with neutrality and professionalism
  • Support constructive conflict resolution and reinforce a culture of accountability and trust
  • Bridge perspective gaps between technical and non-technical functions, as well as between local and global leadership

Governance, Role Clarity & Operational Support

  • Ensure structured documentation, information flow, and reporting across SCC topics
  • Support clarity in roles, responsibilities, and skill transparency in cooperation with HR and functional managers
  • Contribute to strengthening SCC governance models, operating principles, and decision processes
  • Prepare structured analyses, decision papers, and management presentations for leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in complex global or matrix organizations
  • Proven ability in cross-functional stakeholder management and lateral leadership
  • Strong understanding of organizational and leadership dynamics
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to operate confidently without formal authority
  • Experience working closely with senior management or executive teams
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial
