Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business unit goals
• Drive cost savings initiatives without compromising quality and delivery
• Identify and onboard strategic suppliers and partners
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual terms and company standards
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues proactively
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in procurement agreements
• Manage long-term contracts and ensure periodic reviews
• Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and logistics
• Implement best practices for procurement efficiency and transparency
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid production and operational disruptions
• Develop and monitor procurement budgets for the business unit
• Analyse spending patterns and implement cost control measures
• Drive initiatives to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Identify procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure continuity plans are in place for critical suppliers
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Conduct regular performance reviews and training programs
• Ensure procurement practices align with environmental and social governance (ESG) principles
• Adhere to corporate policies, ethics, and regulatory requirements

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 10-15 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in electronics manufacturing procurement environments
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and cost management
• Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement tools
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
• Analytical and strategic thinking
• Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools
