Shift Leader in Production

Our clients in Krusevac are Skoda, Porsche and BMW. At this moment we employ around 3000 people. 

Our company, due to the extension of production capacity  is looking for a candidate who will become a part of our team for the position Shift Leader in Production.

Job description and line of supervision

• Shift Leader in Production is responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities for the needs of production and forwarding the necessary information to other Departments.
• Reports directly to Production Area Manager.

The daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Report deviations of the condition of equipment handed over by the project team to maintenance and ensures that the deviations are eliminated
• Improve technical and organizational processes within production in coordination with managers and other departments
• Functional and disciplinary management of assigned staff
• Assist in the planning and adapting of production resources in accordance with Logistics requirements
• Ensure time, cost and quality targets are met for the assigned staff
• Conform to technical and organizational process standards during the shift in production
• Be responsible for monthly production planning
• Undertake administrative tasks: introduce regulations, point out mistakes, introduce disciplinary measures
• Coordinate and check shift hand overs
• Carry out process tests by modifications (e.g. by modifications after complaints…)
• Report the following shift leader and superior the production results (shift hand over)
• Coordinate extensive maintenance work with maintenance department
• Cares for replacement and takes up the slack for absent team leaders
• Coordinate activities at product changes in the shift

General requirements:

• Secondary or Higher Education (IV or VI degree)
• Basic knowledge of changes in the management of industrial engineering 
• Good knowledge of line planning and management
• Advanced knowledge and ability to analyse weak points in the flow of production
• Advanced knowledge of how to plan for production
• Knowledge of 5s and 8D systems
• Basic knowledge of the quality management system (TQM)
• Good leadership abilities
• Ability to solve conflict situations
• Fluent English
