Our mission is to promote environmental responsibility through effective recycling practices while serving a diverse range of clients nationwide. 

Green Wave is an industry leader in the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) service industry, with locations in the US from coast to coast. We provide our customers with cradle to grave solutions for their IT equipment. 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Stack Software Developer, Medior to Senior, to join our team of engineers in Belgrade, responsible for developing and maintaining critical software applications. You will be responsible for developing new features on our in-house client-facing portal, maintaining existing systems, and supporting our migration from legacy applications to a modern AWS-based architecture.

The ideal candidate will possess a technical background, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Seniority will be determined depending on previous experience and knowledge. 

This is an on-site position that requires strong focus, responsibility, and excellent English communication skills. 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 12-8pm

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and enhance existing functionality on our internal and client-facing web applications.
• Maintain, monitor, and optimize our MySQL databases.
• Migrate legacy PHP and Perl applications to modern AWS-based solutions.
• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Resolve tickets and requests from users.
• Collaborate closely with the US-based management and technical team to design and implement solutions.

Requirements:

• 2 and more years of relevant professional experience in a full-stack development role.
• Client-side web development in HTML5 and JavaScript
• Significant experience with MySQL, including optimization, complex queries, and maintaining data integrity.
• Some experience with AWS, including (but not limited to): Lambda, CloudFormation, API Gateway, EC2, CloudWatch, and other core services.
• Experience with Vue.js (or other reactive front-end framework) and Node.js (back-end).
• Excellent written and spoken English, as you will communicate directly with US-based managers and CTO.
• Ability to maintain and improve existing systems while contributing to new development.
• Willingness to gain working understanding of PHP and Perl, as some projects involve migrating legacy code.
• Ability to handle changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and work within tight time frames and deadlines
