Role Overview

We are looking for a structural/civil engineer to be involved in the full structural design process for timber buildings — from interpreting architectural concepts to producing permit-ready drawings and calculation reports — while working closely with architectural and robotics/automation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining structural systems based on architectural designs and coordinating solutions with the architectural team
• Analysis of vertical and lateral load paths
• Structural analysis and sizing of load-bearing elements
• Design and calculation of structural connections
• Preparation of drawings and calculation reports for building permit submissions
• Daily coordination with the architectural, robotics, and automation teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a preference for Structural Engineering
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Structural Engineering
• Skilled in AutoCAD
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-evolving, multidisciplinary settings
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred (not mandatory)

• Experience in timber structure design
• Experience designing structures for the U.S. market
• Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., Dlubal RFEM, Tekla Tedds)
• Experience with Revit.
