Job Description:

► Quality assurance for externally sourced parts for series production.

►Issuing and handling of complaints towards suppliers

►Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues. Analyze effectiveness of supplier root cause and corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues

►Ensuring continues production flow in case of supplier quality issues

►Taking decision for restricted releases of series parts with deviations

►Responsibility for monitoring and charging back of defect costs

►Development of appropriate supplier quality improvement concepts and review supplier manufacturing processes.

►Working within interdisciplinary teams and the international purchasing organization

►Communication with international suppliers

Qualifications:

► University degree in mechanical engineering with focus on quality management methods or comparable degree

►Working experience in field of automotive business and quality management methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why) mandatory

►Proven problem-solving skills with an understanding of 8D methodologies to resolve issues: Demonstrates an advanced level of root-cause analysis

►Strong understanding of engineering requirements and mechanical and electrical inspection methods – ability to interpret drawings and specifications

►Experience in production processes (e.g. alu-die casting, injection moulding, progressive stamping, assembly, packaging materials, etc.)

►Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide concise direction in a dynamic manufacturing environment

►Good knowledge of English in business contexts (written and spoken)

►Good knowledge of the MS-Office applications, SAP advantageous
