Manufacturing & Supply Chain (MSC) plays a vital role in delivering life-saving therapies globally within Care Enablement. With over 35 manufacturing sites and 23 distribution centers, MSC ensures the reliable production and distribution of high-quality devices for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and acute care—reaching patients in approximately 150 countries.
The team oversees the full supply chain from manufacturing to delivery, focusing on operational excellence, product availability, and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of patients and healthcare providers. Join our passionate team and help shape healthcare worldwide!
As a Supply Chain Manager Serbia, your role will focus on coordinating and optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain activities across the Serbian market. You will oversee demand management, inventory planning, transportation, and last‑mile distribution to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective operations. This role plays a key part in aligning demand and supply, improving service levels, managing local logistics budgets, and driving continuous improvement across processes. You will act as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and external logistics partners, while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high service performance for patients and customers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage demand planning, inventory levels, and local supply to ensure efficient end‑to‑end logistics across Serbia.
- Oversee transportation, distribution networks, and last‑mile delivery to secure cost‑effective and timely operations.
- Lead monthly demand reviews and ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing new processes, standards, and best practices in Supply Chain.
- Manage the local logistics budget, including financial optimization, cost transparency, and KPI performance.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all supply chain activities.
- Oversee local inventory management, monitor stock aging, coordinate scrapping, and validate supplier invoices.
- Manage supplier performance through systematic reviews and act as primary contact for logistics partners.
- Ensure creation and regular updating of forecasts and master data in APO/IBP; create PO‑s for spare parts.
- Organize returns of goods to Germany in line with procedures and legal requirements.
- Provide backup for Customer Service during absences.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, and other cross‑functional teams to enable operational excellence.
- Contribute to leadership initiatives that enhance distribution capacity, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Your Profile:
- University degree in Economics, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an international Supply Chain environment, ideally within healthcare or MedTech.
- Proven leadership experience (3+ years) in managing diverse and skilled teams.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Supply Chain processes, with deep knowledge of logistics operations, warehousing, transportation, and demand planning.
- Demonstrated track record of driving improvements in fast‑changing and complex environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and functions.
- Customer‑oriented, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities and a results‑driven approach.
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong working knowledge of SAP SD/MM, Warehouse Management systems (Elvis, WM, EWM), and planning tools such as SAP APO and IBP.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
