Underground Installation Engineer

Powerchina International Group Limited Ogranak Beograd is publishing a job announcement for position of Underground Installation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Strong external communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage work and interactions with subcontractors, supervisors, employers, and other external parties; as well as the ability to establish and maintain good relationships with local authorities, departments, and personnel. Ideally, has well-established relationships with local pipeline or utility authorities.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts, with high sensitivity to potential contractual or technical risks, and the ability to immediately provide personal recommendations and handle risk (including professional correspondence and technical writing skills).

Job requirements: 

• High proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate fluently with both internal teams and external partners, and a strong command of professional terminology within the industry.
• Experience in civil construction and technical management.
• Familiar with European standards and Serbian standards of civil.
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Serbian.
• Proficient in reading civil drawings, skilled at office software, and able to operate AutoCAD drawing software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil from an accredited university or college.
• Must hold a valid Serbian-certified Engineer License related to underground installation (Water & Sewerage, Electrical, or Telecommunications); extensive experience in underground installation construction and relocation is required, with a preference for candidates experienced in complex underground installation projects or installation relocation under challenging site conditions.
• Valid driving license.
