Role focus:

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join WhiteCity Soft on a part-time basis. WhiteCity Soft provides IT services with a proven track record, and our team has been working together for over 20 years, successfully delivering high-quality projects across the IT sector. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and applications, ensuring excellent performance, usability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain custom WordPress websites and plugins.
• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and website performance.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for efficiency and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and WordPress best practices.
• Develop custom themes, plugins, and modules according to project requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
• Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across all devices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with responsive design and modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with ACF and plugin/theme development.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize websites for performance.
• Team player with good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with WooCommerce, Git version control and Plesk hosting environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Familiarity with other CMS platforms or modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with implementing SEO best practices and optimizing website performance for speed and scalability.
