Senior Project Manager, PPM

What is the job about?

The Project Manager is developing and representing Group Purchasing strategies and deliverables in Grundfos development projects in 1 or more Divisions. The Project Manager is part of a cross-functional project management team, often working across geographies and nationalities.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead Purchasing deliverables in the development and launch of new products solutions
• Develop and execute Purchasing Project plans, Resource plans and Risk mitigation plans
• Represent Group Purchasing in cross-functional project management teams having the overall full responsibility for what it takes to develop and launch new product solutions
• Support and drive enhancing Grundfos’ end-to-end supply chain by influencing supplier selection, supply chain resilience and sustainability values in the development projects
• You are typically part of 2-5 development projects in parallel

• Contribute to the development and application of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency in how we bring new products to market
• Contribute to maintain and further enhance a high motivation, satisfaction and well-being of our team

Your background:

• Significant experience in project management methodology, application results - We value the depth of your experience over the high number of years.
• Deep supply chain understanding - End-to-end view from supplier to assembly
• Comprehensive professional experience in design and manufacturing processes
• Technical understanding - Sufficient engineering and operations knowledge to navigate as Project Manager in development of new products solutions
• Experience working across Product development and Operations is considered a beneficial asset
• Experience in sourcing process for Direct materials is considered a beneficial asset
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization as well as with external partners

Expected travel is approximately 20 days per year

Székesfehérvár, Hungary: At least 2 days in the office per week.

Indjija, Serbia: Home office days are based on agreement with your manager.
