ASSOCIATE IN FINANCIAL ADVISORY

The Team

Our Financial Advisory team is a collaborative group that creates value for clients undergoing a merger, acquisition or divestiture. It supports our clients in all stages of the M&A lifecycle through our One-Deloitte approach. Our team is growing and you will have opportunity to work across multiple Deloitte Offices in Central Europe depending on the client needs.

Who we're looking for

• Higher education is required and degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or similar field is an advantage,
• International education or/and experience is an advantage,
• Up to 2 years of work experience required (previous experience in M&A transaction services or Audit is an asset)
• Being familiar with corporate finance, accounting, finance and business valuation concepts,
• Strong commitment to client service excellence,
• Enjoys business analysis, problem solving and offering solutions,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Serbian and English,
• Excellent analytical skills,
• Ability to work effectively in teams with both clients and other Deloitte professionals,

Work you will do

• Gathering and synthesizing industry information from research sources, including the internet, trade publications, industry and equity analyst reports, and periodicals.
• Conducting financial analyses of companies/markets and performing industry and company-specific research.
• Assessing and analyzing detailed financial statement information, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, business plans, and other operational documents and data.
• Drafting various reports and deliverables such as financial due diligence, sell-side pitches, proposals, teasers, information memoranda, management presentations and etc.
• Preparing request lists and participating in meetings, Q&A processes, and conferences.
• Drafting deal-oriented presentations and analyses highlighting key issues based on prior assessments and analyses.
• Supporting senior team members in various activities required for M&A transaction services or transaction advisory engagements.
• Converting analysis results into briefs for clients' deal strategies and agreements.
