With our common sense evaluation process, we approve a large percentage of our applications and are able to secure significantly more capital for our clients. WG Financing is dedicated to helping businesses reach their maximum potential. We provide a revenue-based type financing product. Our main office is in Miami Florida, USA. We are currently seeking experienced, energetic, and goal-oriented professionals to join our team of underwriters.
Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for full cycle underwriting of assigned small business funding.
To determine business and merchant’s credit worthiness based on the stability, trend, and growth of the business by analyzing the business’s revenue, business’s liabilities/obligations to senior creditors, expenses/overheads and general credit and background of the business and merchant.
Determine the ability of the client to deliver purchased receivables bought by WG Financing through the analysis of the client’s overall business financials.
Perform detailed financial analysis on the business, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret past, current, and future risks.
Perform credit analysis and financial statement analysis on co-owners, guarantors, and individuals to determine additional risks and exposure.
Perform other due diligence as needed to determine the creditworthiness of the business and its owners.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to read and assess individual and company financial statements, cash flow, industry, and competitive analysis and projections.
- Proficient in various spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Basic knowledge of credit principles, lending operations, lending research, and general credit policies
- Team player with the ability to take the initiative.
- Detail oriented, ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem recognition and resolution skills
Experience
- Credit Analysis: 2 years (Preferred)
- Underwriting: 2 years (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
