Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee the human resources function for our construction company, managing a workforce of 2,500+ employees across multiple locations. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with a strong background in handling large-scale workforce operations in the construction industry. The HR Manager will work directly with senior management and play a pivotal role in talent management, performance appraisal, employee relations, and strategic HR planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations for a diverse, global workforce.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across different regions.
- Implement employee retention programs to reduce attrition.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast manpower requirements.
- Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
- Develop training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership.
- Conduct succession planning for critical roles
- Act as a trusted advisor for employee grievances and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive work culture and ensure high employee engagement.
- Ensure HR policies align with local and international labor laws.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and welfare regulations.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Manage employee benefits, incentives, and salary structures.
Experience and Key Skills:
- Minimum 10+ years of HR management experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience handling large workforces (2500+ employees) across multiple regions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle critical HR issues with spontaneity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HR software and performance management systems.
- Excellent knowledge of global HR practices, labor laws, and compliance.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
