Responsibilities:          

• Responsible for the development of the maintenance strategy and the set up and implementation of the operational action plan which means
• Development of key subject matter experts in the team
• Development of utilities, production process and packaging technology knowledge
• Asset management
• Manage budget effectively to achieve and deliver operational KPI’s, stock control ect.
• Work in close cooperation within the Pepsico engineering and maintenance community and central services; global procurement, sustainability team ect.
• As a GEHSMS- duty (ISO systems) holder ensure the own team and contractors are aligned and operate according the plant environmental and safety processes and procedures
• Lead, define and develop continuous improvement activities designed to improve performance, such as the planning and running of lean events
• Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and actions necessary to ensure success
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
• Facilitate best practice sharing from Lean Six Sigma projects. Solving complex problems by thinking in terms of scenarios, carefully considers all the pros and cons, and driving to the optimal solution for all stakeholders involved.

Requirements:            

• University degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other operations related fields
• Experience in managing maintenance processes in the (food) processing industry
• Experience in technical concepts as e.g. utility distribution systems, automation concept, process optmisation
• Experienced with HACCP and ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen Lead certification is definite advantage
• Strong project management skills 
• Strong leadership skills
• High degree of independence, autonomy, drive and results orientation
• Advanced communication skills to work with all levels of the organization from manufacturing employees to corporate executives
• Strong English language skills
