For our manufacturing site based in Novi Sad, Serbia we are looking for a

Material Planning Specialist

General role:

Material Planning Specialist has a key role in the process of ensuring a stable and synchronized supply chain of components for the production process, while continuously forecasting demand, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring availability of materials.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plans material requirements and sets ordering parameters in the ERP system (batch size, delivery time, quantity and time period),
• Generates purchase orders to suppliers using the ERP system,
• Analyses customer demand forecast and its changes,
• Escalates all potential issues (missing material, late deliveries or other challenges which might jeopardize regular production activities) to Superior,
• Monitors of material deliveries and ensures optimal availability of materials,
• Optimizes logistics processes with suppliers and creates a reliable supply chain,
• Maintains and manages of all electronic data exchange systems related to suppliers and communication (EDI/WEB EDI),
• Creates, updates and reviews of supplier and material master data in the ERP system,
• Plans and controls inventory,
• Constantly optimizes stock levels and reduces obsolete and excess stock,
• Manages supplier receivables (logistics errors),
• Evaluates supplier delivery performance,
• SAP key user for MM module.

Qualifications:

• University degree (MSc, BSc) in Economics, Traffic studies or relevant studies,
• 5 years of experience in similar jobs / positions,
• Experience in material planning and inventory level optimization tools (“ABC/XYZ” analysis; „Consignment stock“, etc.),
• 3 years of experience in SAP enviorenment,
• Advanced user of Excel or/and other program solutions for data manipulaiton and visualization,
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills,
• Proactive and motivated to work in a new environment,
• Positive energy and ability to lead and follow.
