SAP BW Consultant

Location: Belgrade, Serbia
Job Function: SAP BW Consultant

Job Description:

  • Work with traditional SAP BW or SAP BW on HANA features, among others, standard and custom SAP BW Extractors, complex transformations, advanced DSOs, composite providers, exposing BW models as HANA views, mixed scenarios, LSA ++ best practice and performance optimization concepts, and utilizing SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) tools (WEBI, Design Studio, and Dashboards)
  • Execute performance tuning, administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving technical problems.
  • Configure and deliver SAP solutions including end user documentation, processes and training as required by the Project
  • Document performance requirements, security requirements, develop flow charts, functional diagrams and descriptions to communicate technical design specifications
  • Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation

Position Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 2 years of proved work experience in Business intelligence: Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Visualization, ETL processes, development of reports in various reporting platforms
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with systems design and project management methodologies
  • Experience setting up and executing test scenarios – test scripts, test cases and test plans
  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
  • Awareness of the business and IT strategy
  • Experience eliciting business requirements – writing functional and technical requirements
  • Strong ability to communicate requirements to clients and developers
  • Experience with relational database management and reporting
  • Technical background: SAP BW 7.3 Data Modeling and BEX skills, SAP ABAP / ABAP Objects,◦SAP BO is a plus, Oracle SQL is a plus
  • Agile mindset and desire to take responsibility
  • Ability to recognize problems related to project objectives
  • Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Ability to work either independently or within a team
  • Ability to translate customer needs into appropriate solutions
  • Willingness and ability to travel when required
  • To be a proactive, positive contributor
  • Ability to work in an international team with international customers
  • Fluent in English and Serbian
