Software Engineer

full-time position | Belgrade office (Serbia)

We are now looking for a software engineer who will be part of an agile development team focusing on app development. The team will be placed in Belgrade but will communicate daily with the engineering team in Megger Danderyd (Sweden).

Your Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in the development of a mobile app that will control an external device as well as possess other functionality
• Take an active role in reviewing and giving feedback on system requirements, to understand the requirements of the mobile app as well as give feedback on the technical feasibility
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code as well as validating the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Develop and maintain the software needed for the mobile app, the software shall be easy to maintain, testable and scalable
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing as well as troubleshoot and debug applications
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, such as the system tester as well as the product development team to understand the vision

Your Energy

• About 3+ years of experience in app development
• Experience with JavaScript and working in react.js
• Experience with tools used in app development
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering and embedded systems is a merit
• Previous experience of Jira and Gitlab is a merit
• Preferable knowledge of other programming languages such as .NET, C#, C++ or C
