NIDEC ELESYS EUROPE in Novi Sad will produce inverters and other electronic control systems for electric and hybrid vehicles.
For our manufacturing site based in Novi Sad, Serbia we are looking for a
Maintenance Engineer
General:
- Establish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation and troubleshooting guides for newly established production equipment/processes;
- Implementation of maintenance methods within new projects from pre-acceptance to SOP (checking of machines - safety, electric and mechanical conformity);
- Supporting maintenance technicians with corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on assigned equipment;
- Robotics, PLC and Vision system troubleshooting and line synchronization after production stoppage;
Duties and responsibilities:
- Understand factory automation technology and equipment such as robots, automated guided-vehicles and computerized manufacturing systems;
- Repair, troubleshoot advanced hardware, software and interface problems, maintaining the system to ensure full functionality and reliability;
- Participate in planning for cleanroom, equipment layout to optimize process & material flow, space & utility utilization, cleanliness & contamination control;
- Lead in-house automation projects on layout, build, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental & production equipment;
- Coordinate and handle follow-up activities with external & internal parties concerning technical developments, scheduling and resolution of engineering design and test problems;
- Setting up new machines, transferring of equipment at different plants and integration to existing system;
- Supervise installation crews and support the field installation work;
- Participate in design and documentation reviews, update management on work progress and deviations;
- Manage individual project budgets and schedules and routinely report progress;
- Keep track of process failures and breakdowns, analyse and prepare counter actions in accordance with Continuous Improvement principles;
- Travel to customer sites for design reviews, research, installation, and troubleshooting;
- Keep abreast of latest developments in industrial automation technology and introduce them to plant wide operations to achieve cost savings and productivity improvements.
Required personal and professional skills:
- University graduate – Mechatronics or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of Mechatronics, Industrial Robotics and Automation;
- Good knowledge of industry standards on equipment design, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures;
- Good knowledge of industrial mechanic, electronic and pneumatic systems;
- Intermediate knowledge of different PLC platforms, HMI, SCADA and Vision systems;
- Advanced knowledge of 6-Axis robot programming;
- Entire MS Office suite is a must;
- Basic knowledge in 3D CAD software environments;
- English, Intermediate level according to company standards;
- Confident, proactive, innovative and strong teamwork spirit;
- Independent self-starter with good written communication and analytical skills.
