Expertise of Tarkett IT team in Serbia is well recognized globally, therefore Tarkett established IT shared services based in Novi Sad in the form of an autonomous CoE (Center Of Excellence). Based on success of IT shared services, Tarkett decided to establish Accounting Shared Services Center in Novi Sad. This department integrates accounting processes from more than 10 several legal entities within the Tarkett Western Europe Division.

Your Role
We will count on you to:
- Post incoming invoices (SAP FI and MM invoices)
- Audit and post travel expenses
- Assist in external audits
- Participate in monthly closing activities
- Prepare payment proposals (intercompany and external)
- Set up recurring, accrual, and reversal journal entries
- Participate in intercompany activities
- Run various reports to support business unit managers and cost center managers
- Work with appropriate teams (in ASSC and/or Tarkett EMEA) to identify and address the issues and ensure the handling is effective
- Propose solutions to resolve issues and contribute to root cause analysis
- Provide appropriate communication in a simple way that Business representatives can understand
- Work with a continuous improvement mindset
Your experience & skills
What you need to have:
- University degree or relevant working experience
- At least two (2) years of experience in Accounting
- Change Management: Willingness to understand, accept and apply needed changes, as well as to understand the resistance that usually comes with changes
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and easily to various stakeholders inside the Tarkett organization
- In-depth process knowledge: Deep understanding of the process area under their responsibility
- Good knowledge of MS office: Especially good skills in Excel
- Flexible and team player – Develops close partnerships with key stakeholders
- Ability to quickly understand complex processes and procedures
