This Account Manager position will be responsible for selling the Snap One Product Control4. Control4 is a smart home automation platform that allows users to connect and manage all their devices in one place.  Our products can control things such as your home theatre, lighting, security, thermostat, and so much more.  If you love technology and regularly find yourself reading the latest tech blog or magazine you can turn your passion into an incredible career in smart home automation sales.

The Account Manager position will be responsible for outbound calls directly to existing company clients/dealers. As an Account Manager you’ll contact dealers and help them build their business. This position will be focused on building and maintain a strong relationship with the dealers and be the main point of contact to notify them about changes and updates to our products. Reaching out to a dealer whose sales have slipped to excite them and re-invigorate them about our brand and product line will also be required. This role is critical in keeping in touch with our dealers and making sure they have what they need in order to be successful.


  • Conducting Business-to-business sales
  • Transactional focus, comfortable with a quota carrying position
  • Occasional involvement in outside sales with dealer support
  • Learn the full range of Control4 technology, products, and services and can articulate to dealers how these products and services align to their customer needs
  • Explain technical, industry, and market facts to position Control4 as a competitive solution
  • Cooperate and collaborate with colleagues, cross-functionally, to support the sales process

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably Technical, Economics or Business Management)
  • 3+ years experience in sales, account management or business development
  • Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of the organization
  • Ability to understand challenges, resolve problems promptly, and drive for results, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness
  • Proven customer service skills, sales experience, and leadership ability. Sound decision-making and analytical skills drive and desire to succeed
  • Experience in B2B and B2C sales

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce is required to contribute and update data for understanding/segmentation of dealer base
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
  • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must
  • Familiar using Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Outlook, and Salesforce
