Accounting Officer – Payables & Receivables

For our client Grammer Business Center a newly established Global Business Center based in Niš, we are seeking experienced Accounting Officers – Accounts Payables & Receivables who will be a part of the initial team as they have launched their new state-of-the-art business center with modern amenities.

Role Summary:

Implementation of various accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards in order to control the organization's financial resources in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements.

Job description

Accounts Payable:

• Process and verify incoming invoices per guidelines
• Manage cash discounts, cash-out planning, and deposits
• Reconcile pricing and quantity differences with relevant departments
• Address creditor insolvencies and process balance clearances
• Serve as a contact person for vendor accounting

Accounts Receivable:

• Process debtor credit notes and incoming payments
• Implement dunning procedures and credit checks
• Reconcile debtor balances and monitor overdue payments
• Coordinate with sales on customer-related issues
• Administer debtor accounts and contract-related procedures
• Reporting to Accounting Manager

Requirements

• University or College degree in relevant economic field
• Work experience in similar roles, minimum of 2 years
• Experience with SAP is preferable
• English language proficiency is necessary
