Accounts Payable Accountant - German Speaking

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will manage and maintaining the company’s accounts payable function. You will handle tasks such as processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and take care of accounts payable master data
• Create and perform Banking Callbacks
• Account assignment / posting / Reviewing Incoming Invoices from third parties and Intercompany Invoices
• Accounts Reconciliations and clarify differences
• Consultation and Clarification with Purchasing Department
• Creating Debit and Credit Notes
• Create payment runs
• Calling for approvals according to the DLA
• Reconciliation Banks / Bank GL Accounts and posting of bank statements
• Reviewing Invoice Received / Goods Received
• Provide Data for SOX

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Accounting Payables
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently
• Strong PC and business systems knowledge.
• Very good IT knowledge e.g., SAP FI/CO, 
• Good Excel skills 
• Team player that can work well with others and is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
• Business fluent English skills 
• Business fluent German skills 
• Interest in responsible and challenging tasks
