For one of our clients, we are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will play a key role in managing client invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation — all while working from the comfort of your home.
About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payments, accurate financial tracking, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You’ll also contribute to ongoing process improvements and have opportunities to grow within the team.
Responsibilities
- Generate and issue invoices accurately and on time
- Monitor and track accounts receivable aging reports
- Communicate with clients to ensure timely payment and resolve outstanding payments
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and support month-end and year-end closings
- Analyze reports to identify trends or discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing efficiency
- Provide backup support for accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
- Assist with audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for invoicing and collections procedures
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or billing in international environment
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables & formulas)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English language
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
