Approved by the State Council, Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA) is a wholly state-owned company set up on 29th September 2011 on the basis of 14 provincial (municipal, regional) electric power survey and design, engineering and equipment manufacturing enterprises formerly affiliated to Sinohydro Group Ltd., HydroChina Corporation, State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Company Limited.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our administrative processes. You will collaborate with various departments and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including handling correspondence, organizing meetings, and maintaining records.
  • Welcoming and serving guests
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
  • Handle office supplies inventory and procurement, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the HR department in recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee records management.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, minutes of meetings and documents as needed
  • Responsible for the daily document management of subsidiary company.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination of company activities.
  • Communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Taking care of rented apartments, such as communication with apartment owners, preparation of necessary documentation for payment of current bills, keeping track of rents and bills being paid and informing owners as well as all other necessary actions for smooth functioning
  • Assist with planning and coordination of managers business trips
  • Complete other tasks assigned by department leaders;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative work experience.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments.
