Advokatski pripravnik/Legal Trainee

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing case files and registration requests/applications, under supervision
• Providing legal advice to clients, under supervision
• Drafting legal documentation, under supervision
• Assisting lawyers with case preparation, requests, motions, applications, and other documents
• Liaising with clients as needed
• Attending court and other legal processes — shadowing and observing lawyers, with opportunities for hands-on experience
• Maintaining a trainee diary of work and training
• Coordinating with HR to arrange and attend professional skills courses and training
• Attending client meetings, under supervision
• Conducting legal research as requested
• Writing legal articles and reviews on various topics
• Other duties as assigned

Essential (E):

Desirable (D):

• Sound understanding of all areas of law studied at college
• Interest in specializing in key areas such as commercial, contract, information, or employment law
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary, project-based environment
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

Candidates who meet the following criteria will be given an advantage:

• Unemployed status for at least 3 months, registered with the National Employment Service
• No work experience in the field of qualification or work experience shorter than the required duration for the internship
