Amazon & E-Commerce Supply Chain Management Assistant

AMZ Freight is looking for a tech-savvy Amazon & E-commerce Supply Chain Management Assistant. Having extensive experience in supply chain management & freight forwarding aspects for global Amazon & E-commerce projects (US, UK, DE...), the demand for our services is growing rapidly.

Scope of the activities: 

• Monitoring inventory & sales levels on different sales channels and storage warehouses (Amazon, Shopify, different external warehouses...)
• Forecasting & preparing purchase orders (towards suppliers)
• Coordination with suppliers on production & export matters (deadlines, commercial docs preparation for customs clearance purposes, invoices, packing lists, etc.)
• Coordination with freight forwarders (booking air/sea/rail freight) & QC companies (organising inspections)
• Monitoring the shipping process and the last-mile delivery guidance
• Enforcing labeling requirements for Amazon inbound shipments (coordination with external warehouses or suppliers)
• Creating Amazon FBA inbound shipments (via Amazon Seller Central) + reconciliation
• Optimization of the entire freight and stock management process
• Building ad-hoc reports

Requirements:

• At least a B2 Level of English, preferably C1
• University degree - preferably The Faculty of Economics
• Being tech-savvy (Are you familiar with project management tools such as Asana or Trello? What about Slack? Microsoft Office or Google Sheets - an absolute must!)
• Not necessary, but a basic experience in freight forwarding & logistics (familiar with the Incoterms 2020?) will be considered a huge plus

AMZ Freight is providing training for all the aspects mentioned in the ad and is looking for a long–term cooperation possibility. Working as an Amazon Supply Chain Management Assistant will give a chosen candidate a chance to work in the ever-increasing e-commerce industry and have a better understanding of global logistics and trade processes. In the initial stage, this will be a 20-hour-per-week hybrid type of engagement (modern office space in the city centre of Subotica)
