Android/Linux BSP Software Engineer

Quectel Wireless Solutions is a leading global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA (+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in newly opened R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

Android/Linux BSP Software Engineer

Job Responsibility:

1. Responsible for Android or Linux BSP (Board support Package) driver design and implement, which component include USB, charge, Sensor, LCD/TP, Audio, Camera, ethernet, PCIE , bus, etc.
2. Responsible for kernel new technology research and design.
3. Responsible for new project pre-research, software requirement analysis and system design.
4. Responsible for android/linux system stabilization, performance and consumption optimization work.
5. Help the team to improve technical knowledge
6. Support customers to solve BSP problems and issues from customer product.

Requirements and preferable skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer, electronic, communication engineering, etc.
2. At least 5 years’ working experience in Android or Linux BSP (Board support Package) driver software development.
3. Significant development experience in Android or Linux kernel BSP driver or system stability, performance, power consumption, can independently develop and maintain the driver function.
4. Familiar with Linux kernel driver, proficient in C or C++ programming.
5. If can take more than two components in PMIC, USB, LCD, TP, Audio, Camera, Sensor, UART/SPI/I2C/PCIE, SD-card, SDIO/MMC, system stability, performance and power consumption, who are preferred.
6. Work in Qualcomm, Mediateck, Samsung, Google, Intel, smart phone, smart tablet software design region, who are preferred.
7. Comprehensive software development technical background, in-depth understanding of project initiation, project construction, requirement decomposition, definition, and implementation.
8. Fluent in English
