Wacker Neuson is a manufacturing company specialized in welded steel components designed for compact excavators, wheel loaders, and dumpers. Currently, our products are sold exclusively to our parent company, and we are now expanding our market to include OEMs and dealers across Europe.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the growth of our steel component products throughout Europe. The successful candidate will establish and develop relationships with OEMs and dealers, targeting key markets in the DACH region, South, and Central Europe to establish and expand our customer base.
Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Steel construction for automotive/construction/mining industry
Location: Europe (preferably with a focus on DACH region, South, and Central Europe)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEMs and dealers across Europe.
- Promote and sell our welded steel components tailored for construction machinery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new markets and product opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's expanding footprint.
- Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote our products.
- Self-starter: One week per month in the office (Kragujevac), the rest of the time on the road
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience in the construction or steel components industry preferred.
- Knowledge of the European construction equipment market, especially OEMs and dealership networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German or other European languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and travel within Europe as needed.
- Strong understanding of the technical aspects of welded steel components is advantageous.
