Soteria, LLC is looking for an Azure administrator to support our customer environments and ensure the smooth deployment and operation of cloud resources.
Role Overview
As an Azure administrator, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our clients' Azure environments by deploying new resources, monitoring system performance, and responding to escalations from the service desk. You will work closely with engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and support on cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and automation. You will also develop and maintain operational documentation, diagrams, and standards, as well as stay current with new Azure technologies and trends. You will collaborate with other Azure administrators and engineers to share knowledge and best practices. You will also assist with cloud engineering tasks and projects when needed.

Role Responsibilities
As an Azure administrator, you will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Support and manage Azure environments for Soteria’s customers
- Deploy new cloud resources and ensure they are configured according to best practices
- Monitor system performance and resolve any issues or escalations from the service desk
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams on cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and automation
- Work with clients and stakeholders to understand their business requirements and provide appropriate cloud solutions
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, diagrams, and standards
- Stay current with new Azure technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on customer environments
- Collaborate with other Azure administrators and engineers to share knowledge and best practices
- Assist with cloud engineering tasks and projects when needed
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud administration and support
- Strong knowledge and experience with Azure infrastructure, services, and tools
- Proficiency in deploying and managing cloud resources using Azure Portal, PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure CLI
- Expertise in cloud networking, security, and automation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-500 are preferred
