We are currently looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to support one of our clients in the Ground Transportation industry. If you're meticulous, analytical, and eager to work in a fast-paced international environment, this role might be the right fit for you.
Position Overview
As a Billing Specialist, you’ll be primarily responsible for billing and pricing tasks, including managing, validating, and reconciling invoices from national affiliates and global partners. You’ll act as a quality control checkpoint—ensuring each invoice accurately reflects the services provided, follows pricing standards, and is free of overcharges or discrepancies. This role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to spot errors and cost inefficiencies. A solid understanding of geography and routing, along with proficiency in using mapping tools, is essential to verify the accuracy of distance-based charges. Your work will help maintain the financial integrity of operations and support a smooth, accurate billing process across regions.
Your Responsibilities
- Handle billing and pricing operations with a focus on accuracy and cost efficiency
- Review and validate incoming invoices from affiliates worldwide
- Reconcile ride data with invoices and investigate discrepancies
- Detect and report billing errors, duplicate charges, or unjustified fees
- Collaborate with affiliates and internal teams to resolve issues and clarify inconsistencies
- Use maps and geographic knowledge to verify routes, distances, and pricing relevance
- Organize and manage billing documentation using internal systems and cloud platforms
- Track, update, and analyze billing data using Excel and other internal tools
- Follow affiliate-specific billing procedures and adjust to diverse requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in billing, pricing, invoicing, or financial operations is required
- Experience in the Ground Transportation industry is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to spot errors and inefficiencies
- Solid understanding of geography and experience using mapping tools (e.g., Google Maps)
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Comfortable with multitasking and working across platforms
