Due to the significant expansion of our activities, we are looking for a Business Analyst who will join our team in Belgrade and work on our latest products and support our integration teams.
Job Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business needs, gathering requirements and supporting the development of telecom solutions. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that business objectives align with technical implementations, helping improve processes, products, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation
- Work closely with stakeholders (business units, network engineers, IT teams) to elicit and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements and technical implementations.
- Business Process Analysis and Optimization
- Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and business models to visualize workflows.
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaboration with Development and Technical Teams
- Act as a bridge between business and IT teams to ensure clear communication of requirements.
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria for our software solutions.
- Support the development team during implementation by clarifying business needs and priorities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and potential improvements.
- Use reporting tools to generate business insights.
- Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
- Support for Testing and Deployment
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating that delivered solutions meet business needs.
- Help present and train end-users on new systems and processes.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Maintain detailed and structured documentation, including business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and process flows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Business Analysis Tools: Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and manipulate datasets using SQL, Excel, or BI tools.
- Process Modeling: Familiarity with BPMN, UML, or similar frameworks for business process documentation.
- Testing Support: Understanding of UAT principles and how to validate requirements against delivered solutions.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced telecom environment.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with processes in telco companies and TM Forum frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years in a business analysis role, preferably within the telecom industry or a related IT sector.
- Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory):
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
- Agile certifications (CSPO, PMI-PBA, SAFe)
