Business Data Modeling Specialist for International Retail Banking

Having a strong customer recognition and being a digital leader on the market, Raiffeisenbank Serbia is seeking to enhance a freshly established Advanced Analytics Team with talented individuals to help us support Retail data transformation on international level for entire Raiffeisen Group.
We are looking for ambitious candidates who will support us in:

• Data modeling – expanding enterprise-wise 10 countries models, building entity relationships, resolving model conflicts including strong stakeholder management skills to include and align local country extensions
• Be the mastermind in managing yaml documentation in data catalog
• Contribute to RBI Group transformation into a data-driven company & most recommended financial institute

You will be part of our adaptive set-up where Retail data strategy team works closely with Retail Customer Growth team to scale retail data transformation to all network banks in aligned way with all relevant divisions across the banking group (Finance, Risk, Controlling etc.).
You will organizationally be part of Retail Customer Growth Team where Data engineers, Data scientists, MLOps engineers as well as Data analysts internationally work together on different use cases.

What your job will look like:

• Engage in data model maintenance and expansion, from requirements gathering to deployment
• Assemble complex retail-banking data sets and establish data structures
• Work with state-of-art cloud architecture using AWS and Databricks
• Continuously support both internal colleagues and consumers from local Banks in best practices
• Lead the documentation process
• Resolve cross-team dependencies, conduct pre-analysis for brainstorming, and help strategy leader to plan and manage team work
• Oversee data governance, quality, and integrity. Evaluate and improve existing processes. Support the team on data initiatives

What you bring to the table:

• Data savvy person
• Software engineering excellence and good understanding of data modeling core concepts
• Structured and conceptual mindset coupled with strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving attitude 
• Experience in building or using enterprise-wise data models also on DWH, Data lake or Lakehouse
• Experience with ETL tools and expertise in PySpark, Python, SQL
• Experience working within agile (scrum) methodology 
• Fluent English, spoken and written

Will be a plus:

• BSc in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or related major
• Experience with maintaining code repositories (Git or Bitbucket)
• Experience with Lakehouse architecture
