Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced team member to join us as a Business Development & Business Coaching Associate. This role begins with a strong focus on inbound sales, client engagement, and relationship building. Over time, the position will transition into a business coaching role, where you will work directly with clients to enhance business growth, leadership, marketing, and financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with inbound sales leads and engage potential clients.
- Schedule and host client meetings to support consultant work and ensure clients remain on track.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and their senior management teams – both clients and prospects
- Utilize social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to build a professional network and engage with clients, referral sources and potential clients.
- Develop and implement social media outreach strategies to generate new business leads.
- Do research on market trends, what sets our clients ahead of the curve, what industries to focus on.
- Conduct cold calls and proactive outreach to supplement inbound sales efforts.
- Assist in developing strategic business solutions for clients.
- Learn and apply business planning, coaching and training methodologies to support clients with business growth, leadership development, financial improvements and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years of business experience working in sales, coaching, mentoring, and leadership roles.
- Some management experience or strategic planning experience is a plus.
- Proven experience working with business owners, C-level executives, and high-level decision-makers.
- Strong background in sales, business development, coaching, or consulting.
- Experience leveraging social media for business development.
- Experience working with U.S.-based privately held businesses.
- Proficiency in common business software, including CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and other business management platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, documentation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and transition into a business coaching role using a proven process.
