Position Summary:

Our Business Development Representatives are the first point of contact between prospective customers and Allyant, and it is their responsibility to introduce our products and understand the prospect's current business requirements. BDR's are responsible for, building pipeline by prospecting into appropriate targeted verticals, setting meetings, route qualified meeting to Account Executive, re-engage with stale accounts, and handle Inbound leads tied to BDRs accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities to build a more robust pipeline in collaboration with Account Executives.
    Research and develop targeted vertices
  • Outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, Marketing CampaignsAct as first point of contact for Inbound leads tied to BDR’s account
  • Hit assigned Key Performance Metrics that include minimum outreach per day via phone and email, generation of qualified leads and booked meetings.
  • Uncover a prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities while highlighting the benefits of Allyant.
  • Create and maintain prospect pipeline
  • Work effectively with internal departments to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities for new business.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual qualified meeting goals

Education/Experience

  • A minimum of a High School Degree; Bachelors degree desired.
  • Experience in the accessibility space and knowledge of related challenges preferred.
  • Track record of working in a fast-paced environment; and independently setting and achieving goals.
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a clear and simple way.
  • Experience with sales platforms and prospecting tools, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, Zoom Info, Seamless and Outreach.

Skills & Abilities

  • Time Management – Managing one’s own time with a proven ability to deliver quality work and meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to define opportunities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and strong adherence to the practice of business ethics.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and handle difficult personalities and situations independently.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Other European languages are an asset.

Work Environment:

  • This job is remote and primarily operates in a remote home office.
  • Working space must be professional / business appropriate, free of distractions and safely maintained (as to meet safe working conditions followed on company premises).
  • Working space must have fast, stable / uninterrupted internet connection.
