We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to enforce our team involved in engineering and construction of large-scale industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue business opportunities in various engineering sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and partners
• Establish partnerships with government agencies, private firms, and industry stakeholders to expand market reach
• Develop and implement strategic and marketing plans to drive revenue growth
• Assist in the preparation of bids, tenders, and RFPs to secure engineering contracts
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients
• Collaborate with technical and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Stay up to date with industry regulations, technological advancements and emerging trends to identify new business opportunities
• Provide input on pricing strategies and service offerings based on market demand and competitor analysis
• Monitor performance, track key metrics and provide regular reports to management

Qualifications

• University degree in the field of Engineering, Business, Economy, or a related field. 
• 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the engineering industry
• Strong understanding of engineering services and industry standards
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and engineering procurement process
• Strong network
• Ability to generate leads, develop proposals and close deals
• Strong contract negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies to enter new markets
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales management tools
• Ability to identify challenges, develop creative solutions and implement long-term business strategies
• Highly organized, proactive, adaptive, responsible and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently while also collaboratively with cross-functional teams
