We are looking for a curious, perseverant, and purpose driven candidate for the position of a Business Planning Analyst Western Balkans.
Your Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Planning Analyst Western Balkans you will have the responsibility to support the business within a country with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts etc. and may coordinate a team of specialists. To act as a Business Partner for BPA within a country, providing insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the management team.
Major accountabilities:
- Manage Business Planning and Analysis activity for several markets within Western Balkans Region (Serbia, Bosnia, N.Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo)
- Ensure the operational conversion of the BPA strategic goals within a dedicated area of the business Provide management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews, and ensure timely and accurate information gathering
- Manage, coordinate and consolidate timely, accurate and well supported Plans/LO's for all P&L lines, including SIT and FTE analysis, aligned with the guidance from Regional and Global teams
- Lead the monthly YTD and YTG analysis and provide clear and concise commentary with proper variance analysis to the management. Capture risks and opportunities in forecasts, actively raise recommendations and pinpoint gaps to existing forecasts
- Prepare monthly Finance reconciliation and S&OP process with the affiliate teams
- Provide support and high-quality analysis to the CFO/FM, Country head and other BU managers for planning, actuals and ad-hoc financial requests. Advise management in areas of profit maximization and resource allocation
- Continuously assess product profitability and recommend appropriate actions
- Perform financial assessment of new launches and initiatives highlighting related risks and opportunities
- Support commercial leads on tender strategy setting with preparation of product profitability analysis
- Cost control - make proper analysis and proposal in order to achieve high accuracy rates and appropriate resource allocation
- Ensure that all expenses are allocated to correct cost center, account, and if needed suggest corrective actions. Perform actuals vs forecast analysis to identify variances supported by relevant comments
- Build relations and create alignment with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives
Requirements:
- University degree (ideally in Management/ Economics)
- At least 4 years of experience with Financial analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Power point, Word)
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English and Serbian/Bosnian (both written and spoken)
