CRM Communications Executive (m/f)

Job Description:

The CRM Communications Executive is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies focused on user engagement and retention through CRM channels. This position reports directly to the CRM Communications Manager and works closely with members of the CRM team, the Marketing team, Product Owners, and the BI team. The primary goal of this role is to create and execute effective communication campaigns that contribute to building long-term customer relationships and increasing retention rates and the acquisition of new users. Based on data analysis and feedback, the Communications Executive optimizes communication tactics and adapts content for different user segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Creation of CRM Campaign Strategies: Assist in developing direct marketing strategies using channels such as email, SMS, on-site notifications, and push notifications.
  • Content Creation: Write compelling, brand-aligned copy and design visually appealing email templates that resonate with target audiences.
  • User Segmentation and Personalization: Assist in analyzing user data to identify key segments and enable personalized content.
  • Process Automation: Collaborate on setting up automated campaigns on the CRM platform, including welcome lifecycle campaigns, reactivation campaigns, and personalized product recommendations aimed at improving user conversion.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics for direct marketing (open rates, click rates, conversion rates, ROI) to optimize campaign performance.
  • A/B Testing: Participate in conducting A/B tests on various elements of promotional campaigns (subject lines, content, send times, etc.) to identify best practices and optimize results.
  • Compliance and Deliverability: Ensure all promotional campaigns comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and best practices to maintain high deliverability rates and protect sender reputation while respecting user consent for receiving promotional offers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including the marketing team, sales team, CRM team, product owners (casino, sports betting, poker, virtual games), and analytics to align direct marketing initiatives with broader business goals and ensure seamless integration with other marketing channels.
  • Tracking Industry Trends: Research and apply new trends and technologies in CRM communication and the gaming industry.
  • Development: Identify opportunities to improve communication campaigns and propose new ideas.
  • Task Management Aligned with Business Strategy: Coordinate tasks within the team and ensure that all projects are aligned with business strategy.

Key Relationships:

  • CRM Team: Collaborate with colleagues in the CRM team to align strategies.
  • Marketing and Product Teams: Collaborate with marketing to assess the effectiveness of cross-channel promotional campaigns and work with product teams (casino, sports betting, virtual games, e-sports, and poker) to ensure alignment.
  • BI and Analytics Teams: Work closely with analytics teams on data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in CRM Marketing:
    • Preferably within the gaming industry or a similarly dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated experience with data-driven marketing, A/B and multi-variant testing, and analytics, with a successful record of implementing and managing various digital marketing tools.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Customer.io) and marketing automation tools.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office software applications, Excel is mandatory.
    • Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to compliance in email marketing.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to optimize campaign performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
    • Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to interpret and present data/results (both written and verbal) to stakeholders in an engaging and meaningful way.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously within a complex organization.
