POSITION TITLE:     Civil Engineer

ORGANIZATION:      Bechtel-ENKA UK Limited: Morova Motorway Project

LOCATION:               Kraljevo, Serbia

Project:

Morava Corridor Motorway Project (the Project), developed by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure (MoCTI) and located in the West Morava Region of Serbia, is approximately a 112 km length alignment and connects the country from Preljina to Pojate. Construction of the Project will be conducted by Bechtel ENKA UK Limited.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Apply theory and principles of civil engineering in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of structures and facilities under the direction of engineering staff or physical scientists.
• Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, bridges, channels, irrigation projects, pipelines, and water and sewage systems
• Plans and coordinates the work activities and resources necessary for the assigned finishing works in accordance with quality, quantity specifications and ES&H procedures
• Coordinates, directs and leads Foremen and workers engaged in finishing or construction activities.

Job-Related Qualifications:

• Serbian native speaker with proven written and verbal fluency in English;
• Good communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Preferable experience in Highway construction
