Role Overview

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in managing commercial finance operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership, commercial teams, and finance stakeholders to optimize performance, manage financial planning, and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Month-End Accounting

• Manage commercial finance operations for Zdravlje
• Verify and ensure all invoices/Credit notes and accruals are posted
• Compute and finalize Credit Notes, one-off invoices, or discounts in line with agreements with partners of the commercial business
• Compute accruals related to the commercial business and get them posted with the help of the Accounts team

Invoice & PO Approval

• Review and approve invoices and purchase orders (POs) in SAP, ensuring alignment with budgets
• Collaborate with departments for cost reviews and senior management for final approvals
• Monitor and control order cycles, stock levels, receivables, and payables to optimize working capital

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the Commercial department, considering volume, pricing, OPEX, and regulatory costs
• Work closely with Commercial Business teams to ensure adherence to financial plans

Partner Performance & Compliance

• Evaluate partner performance against contracts
• Ensure timely invoicing and settlements of partner business transactions
• Support cash flow planning and forecasting related to commercial business

Strategic & Ad Hoc Reporting

• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports (e.g., sales reports, stock reports, P&L variance analysis) for management
• Provide strategic financial support to the Finance Director, evaluating new business cases and updating the five-year business plan
• Work closely with the FP&A Manager and Finance Manager on business-related matters
• Support CDMO pricing and other CDMO areas as needed

Requirements

• Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
• Proficiency in SAP and financial planning tools is a plus 
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
