Compliance Assistant (German speaker)

Grammer Business Center (GBC) plays a crucial role in supporting Grammer's global operations by integrating essential functions such as accounting, procurement, HR, IT and sales. As a shared services center, GBC provides transactional services, expert support, and data analysis to various Grammer locations worldwide, ensuring efficiency and streamlining processes across departments. 

We’re looking for an Compliance Assistant (German Speaker)  to join our dynamic team at Grammer Business Center in Niš. If you are organized, proactive, and eager to work in a fast-paced, international environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prioritize appointments, meetings, and business travel
• Handle internal and external correspondence efficiently
• Prepare briefings, presentations, graphics, and reports in German and English
• Maintain and update global compliance documentation and group-wide guidelines
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and countries
• Organize and manage training sessions, workshops, and internal meetings
• Administer our whistleblower system, including documentation and case follow-up
• Support and conduct internal investigations
• Perform data forensics and analysis (especially in SAP environments)
• Contribute to the global compliance risk assessment process

What we are looking for:

• University degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
• Additional training or specialization in compliance is a plus
• Knowledge of compliance sub-areas (AML, data protection, AI, anti-corruption) is a strong asset
• Comfort with digital tools and processes; basic technical understanding is desirable
• Business fluency in German and English (additional languages are a bonus)
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• A structured, detail-oriented approach and a high level of integrity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
